Combination on normal equation level of monthly GRACE GPS- and SWARM gravity fields

The scientific combination service of the European Gravity Service for Improved Emergency Management (EGSIEM) aims at providing robust combined and validated monthly gravity models for the user community. While originally GRACE K-Band solutions were in the focus of the service, it was recently expanded to also include GPS- and SLR-only gravity field products. The latter will be of major interest in the likely case of failure of GRACE K-band inter-satellite ranging before the launch of GRACE-FO. The EGSIEM standards allow the mission-independet combination of normal equations, taking into account full correlations with all arc- and instrument-specific parameters. The combination will be performed for GRACE A and B GPS-only and SWARM A, B and C normal equations processed with the Celestial Mechanics Approach (CMA) at AIUB. The results will be compared to satellite specific solutions and evaluated against GRACE K-Band gravity fields.
